Chris mearns | Managing Director
With a career spanning Electronic Engineering in the North Sea through to wrestling the money markets of London, Chris moved to Australia quickly finding his true home in IT with a strong inclination towards the Cyber Security discipline.
Founding Murdoch Webster in 2006, Chris has steadily grown the company through an absolute focus on delivering technical excellence across Core Infrastructure and Cybersecurity disciplines. An active CTO, Chris enjoys the daily challenges of driving client success across Murdoch Webster’s client base, all whilst keeping abreast of emerging technologies that deliver the next great productivity leap for growing businesses.
An accomplished sportsman of days gone by, Chris tackles each weekend splitting time with the clan cheering his youngest son on as he tears up and down the basketball court, cheering on his beloved Melbourne Storm (Championship replays included) or relaxing over a round of Golf.
Whilst not a hard and fast rule, Chris has been known to do his best work wth a nice glass of red in hand.
